IMPORTANT: Drop Off After 8 AM IMPORTANT: Drop Off After 8 AM

For student safety, any student that is brought to the front of the school after the back car line closes at 8 AM must be brought into the building by an adult and signed in at the front office. After being signed in by an adult, students will be given a pass to class.

Car Rider Line Reminders... Car Rider Line Reminders...

Morning Car Rider Line

  • Drop off does not begin until 7:30. Please do not allow students to get out of the vehicle until Coach Brown and Coach Cagle start the morning arrival procedure.
  • Students need to be ready to exit the vehicle when you pull up to Coach Brown and Coach Cagle
  • When you enter the car rider line, pull in to the lane you need to be in when it is time for you to pull on to Sparkman Drive (changing lanes after drop off delays the car rider line process).
  • Do NOT drop off children in the parking lot and allow them to run or walk across the parking lot to the crosswalk!

Afternoon Car Rider Line

  • Please pay attention to the line and make sure you keep moving when it is time to move.
  • If you have a child who needs help being buckled in, please pull all the way up to the cones and buckle them in there.
  • Please do not exit your vehicle during car rider line.
  • Car rider line ends at 3:40. Please make every effort to be in the line for pick up on time.

Work has begun on our second carline! Pardon our progress; it will be worth it! Work has begun on our second carline! Pardon our progress; it will be worth it!

Attendance Updates Attendance Updates

Our school wide goal for attendance is 98% present each and every school day. Every day counts! Please plan appointments early enough that your student can be checked in by 11:30 or later in the day so that they can be in school until at least 11:30 in order to avoid being counted absent.

Was your student absent? Do they need an excuse? Was your student absent? Do they need an excuse?

Form attendance excuses were sent home last week for you to use if your child is absent and needs a parent excuse. A blank copy is attached below. You do not have to use this excuse, but we hopes it makes providing excuses a little easier! Blank copies are also kept at the front office and you can fill them out when you come to drop your child off late or pick your child up early.

South Huntsville Art Walk and Chalk South Huntsville Art Walk and Chalk

We’re excited to invite you to participate in the first-ever South Huntsville Art Walk & Chalk on Saturday, March 29th, from 10 AM to 2 PM at the South Huntsville Public Library! This sidewalk chalk art competition is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your artistic skills to the community while competing for cash prizes!

For just a $10 entry fee, you’ll have the chance to win:
1st Place: $250
2nd Place: $100
3rd Place: $75

The event will provide chalk, but you’re welcome to bring your own. The theme is "Flower Power," and all entries must reflect this in their designs. The event will also feature food trucks and an amateur/kids' area, making it a fun and engaging day for all!

Kids that want to participate but not against the older kids or professional artists will have the opportunity to win: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place ribbon.

This is a great way to gain exposure, share your creativity, and connect with fellow artists and art lovers in the South Huntsville community. Since this is our inaugural event, the hope is to make it an annual tradition, and we’d love for you to be part of it from the very beginning!

If you want to participate, please complete the form below.
