Fairmount Elementary

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are excited to share that interim reports will be sent home next week. These reports provide a snapshot of your child’s academic progress so far this quarter. We are proud of the wonderful growth and effort our students have been showing in the classroom, and we look forward to celebrating their continued success.

In addition, we are beginning our SOAR/Response to Intervention (RTI) tutoring groups next week. These small-group learning sessions are designed to give students additional support and enrichment in key areas, ensuring that every child has the tools they need to thrive.

We will be sending information home in the coming days about Parent Teacher Conferences as well. These will be held on Thursday September 18 from 3:30 - 6:30. This will be great time to meet with your students teacher and discuss their progress thus far this school year.

Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting our students. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions about your child’s interim report or tutoring group placement.

Together, we are building strong foundations for success!

BTCS schools will be closed Monday September 1, 2025 in observance of Labor Day. Enjoy your 3 day weekend!

Mrs. Rutherford was a finalist for the state Teacher of the Year. We want to congratulate Mrs. Rutherford for this outstanding accomplishment. Mrs. Rutherford embodies everything that is great about Fairmount Elementary. She loves our students and staff immensely and we are honored to have her as part of our staff.
