TX CAN - Spring ahead with the resources and training we have for you!
TEA’s Texas Complex Access Network (TX CAN) is here to help with evidence-based knowledge and resources designed to help you better support your students with significant cognitive disabilities.
You will find tools to help you learn about best practice and plan effective instruction for all students. We focus on developing supports to help students move from less inclusive to more inclusive educational environments.
This month, we highlight two resources, the April Monthly Instructional Guide, and the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) online course.
The Monthly Instructional Guides provide considerations to keep you on track each month of the school year. The topics in the April Guide include ideas for planning for next year, updating student portfolios, and organizing materials and activities.
Our second highlighted resource is the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) course. This course defines the practice of UDL and provides applications for students with significant cognitive disabilities. Enroll today in this self-directed, online course providing 3 hours of CPE credit and a digital badge.
TX CAN has what you need to grow your professional toolkit! Visit txcan.tea.texas.gov to stay on top of new research and best practices, or reach out to me, your regional TX CAN contact, for support!
