The Home Stretch
Team,
We are officially in the home stretch, only 9 instructional days remain in the 2025–2026 school year! Let’s continue to stay focused, energized, and intentional as we guide our students to a strong finish. Now is not the time to take our foot off the pedal. Every minute still matters. Continue reinforcing routines, keeping expectations high, and maximizing engagement. Our students need our consistency and commitment now more than ever.
There’s so much to celebrate: OST Math and Science results came back last week, and the growth we’ve seen building-wide is tremendous! Your efforts in instruction, intervention, and relationship-building are showing up in powerful ways. This is a win for all of us, and a testament to the impact of collective hard work. ELA results are expected back this week, fingers crossed for even more good news!
A few things to look out for this week:
Stay alert for students who may begin to disengage—check in, offer structure, and lean on your teams.
Remind students of behavior expectations and End-of-Year event eligibility criteria.
End-of-year field trips, celebrations, and logistics will pick up—please read all updates carefully and communicate with your grade-level teams.
Let’s finish strong with fidelity to instruction and support—continue with small groups, data-driven lessons, and intentional use of time.
Thank you for everything you continue to pour into our students. Let’s close this year with the same excellence and passion we started with. We’ve got this!
Mr. Walker, M.Ed.
Principal
From the Assistant Principal's Desk
Hi Team,
What a full, busy, and incredibly rewarding week it was at Noble! We were incredibly lucky to have such a beautiful day for Field Day, and I want to extend a massive thank you to Mr. Wright for his meticulous planning and organization of this coveted tradition, as well as to the spectacular parent volunteers who made it so special. Our collective momentum started early with a wildly successful Literacy Night that brought out more than 160 community members, and I am deeply grateful to the fifteen staff members who lent their time, flexibility, and "Lemonade love" to make it an unforgettable evening.
As we head into our final nine days of the school year, we are sitting at 367 total behavior referrals—dangerously close to our OnePlan goal of staying below 400. While our chronic absenteeism rate has slightly improved to 24.6%, every single day matters mightily right now, so please continue taking time to proactively connect with students, reteach behavioral expectations, and make those vital caring calls home. Looking ahead, please ensure your May Allstar slides are submitted by Monday at 1:00 p.m. for our final assembly on May 22. Finally, if your class hits the 12-ticket milestone for the Golden Ticket challenge, please notify Mr. Walker and me, and consider signing up for one of our four open Dojo Store volunteer slots this coming week to help us finish the year strong!

Field Day Highlights
A huge shout-out goes to Mr. Wright for organizing an absolutely spectacular Field Day for our students! His incredible planning and energy ensured the entire day ran smoothly, but it truly took a village to bring it all to life. We are so grateful to our fantastic teachers and wonderful parent volunteers who stepped up to manage stations, cheer on our athletes, and keep the fun rolling. Thank you to everyone involved, especially Mr. Wright, for making this year's Field Day an unforgettable memory for Noble!
Tiger 5K & Noble Run Club
Our Noble Run Club officially crossed the finish line of its season by participating in the 5K Run, and we could not be prouder of our student athletes! The event even had an appearance from Heights alum, Laila Edwards, from the USA 🇺🇸 Gold Medal Winning Hockey Team! A massive shout-out goes to Ms. Gaines for leading these efforts with so much heart and dedication, inspiring our runners to push their limits every step of the way. We also want to deeply thank the PTA and all the staff members who came out to lace up their sneakers, volunteer, cheer from the sidelines, and support the club throughout the season. Watching our students conquer the course was a beautiful reminder of what can be achieved with such a supportive community running right alongside them!

OST5th Grade Science Preliminary Results
We want to take a moment to look at some of our initial data from Ohio’s State Tests and celebrate the incredible dedication of our staff and students. Our 5th graders brought fantastic energy to the Science test, resulting in 44% of students scoring proficient or higher, with 11% reaching Advanced, 14% Accelerated, and 19% hitting the Proficient mark. In Grades 3–5 Math, nearly half of all students, 49%, performed at or above proficient. This math breakdown includes 15% of students scoring Advanced, 19% Accelerated, and 15% Proficient across the 176 total tests taken.
This preliminary data is a testament to your daily dedication, intentional interventions, and strong vertical alignment. While we will continue to dive deeper into the full data spectrum to support every single learner, please take a moment to celebrate this incredible foundation. Thank you for everything you do to help our students at Noble shine!
Acadience Assessments
Beyond the state tests, we are also wrapping up our Acadience testing and seeing strong growth across grades K–2. We especially want to highlight Kindergarten, some of our earliest learners, who made incredible strides by significantly shrinking their below-benchmark numbers since the beginning of the year! Having so many students hitting these benchmarks and showing such meaningful growth is a massive testament to your daily dedication, intentional interventions, and tireless hard work.
Girl Scouts of Northeast Ohio - Field Trip Opportunities
The Girl Scouts of Northeast Ohio have opened a brand-new STEM Education Center in Peninsula, Ohio. During the school year, this amazing facility is open for K-12 school field trips that align beautifully with many areas of our district's curriculum.
Here is the best part: they have funding available to help districts bring students there—which includes covering the cost of transportation—on a sliding scale. Because of our district's demographics, we qualify for either an 80% discount or entirely zero-cost field trips (you can check out the details on page 5 of the attached flyer).
One School, One Book - Literacy Night
What an incredible finale to our "One School, One Book" journey! Last week's Literacy Night and Cookout was a massive success, with over 160 guests! From our kickoff to the final page of The Lemonade War, your energy has been inspiring. We read a whole book together as a school community!
A Huge Noble Shout-Out:
Our Title Team: Mrs. Bogus, Mrs. Salvatore, and Mrs. Holyk for their vision and hard work.
Mr. Rozsa: For the incredible website and videos that brought the story to life.
Our Staff: For your deep investment and for volunteering your time last night!
