Scott's Branch Middle High School
"Eagle Nation" 2025-26
Welcome to the "Nest"! 🦅
From the Principal's Desk
It was a great week at the branch! As we are getting closer to SC Ready and EOC testing we would like to encourage all our students to continue to work hard and focus on doing their best. We know that each of you will do your best work and will rise up to meet the expectations.
Parents we kindly ask for your support in reminding students to bring their school-issued device fully charger to school every day. Middle school devices and chargers will be collected in preparation of SC Ready testing at the beginning of next week.
Special congratulations to all our students who were recognized at the JRTOC Awards Ceremony. We are so proud of the leadership and excellence we see you demonstrate every day. Thank you to all our parents and special guests for taking the time to come and recognize these students with us. Special thanks to MSG Indie Robinson and Colonel Thurman Reynolds for their continued leadership and dedication to the SBMHS JROTC program.
Rise up, Eagle Nation, and meet the expectation!

🦅📖 Teaching & Learning Highlights 🦅📖
High School
Mrs. Ruth Garth, high school social studies teacher, and Miss Ashley Davis, school librarian, worked together to blend South Carolina social studies content with reading. Mrs. Garth’s 10th‑grade sociology students celebrated Drop Everything and Read month by choosing books from a collection curated from the SBMHS library. After reading, students wrote summaries about the historical events featured in their books—topics they will explore more deeply in next year’s U.S. History course.
🏆 SBMHS JROTC Awards Ceremony 🏆
On Wednesday, we recognized students who embody the spirit of JROTC through leadership, strong character, and service to their community. Their loyalty, integrity, respect, and selfless dedication show what it means to lead with courage and pride. We are so proud of all the JROTC cadets who were recognized. Way to go, Eagles!
🦅 Welcome to the Eagle Nation, Nurse Hatcher 🦅
