Arrival / Dismissal Maps
Before the first day of school, please visit your campus website under the parent menu to view the Arrival and Dismissal maps. Knowing your route ahead of time will help keep traffic moving smoothly and ensure a safe, stress-free start and end to each day!
Attendance Information
Prosper ISD allows a maximum of four (4) parent notes per student per semester to excuse an absence. Unused parent notes from one semester do not carry over to the next semester. The limit of four (4) parent notes resets at the beginning of each new semester.
All parent notes are to be submitted through Skyward Family Access and must be submitted within 3 school days of the absence.
Once the maximum of 4 parent notes per semester has been met, absences will be considered unexcused, unless the absence qualifies as an exemption under compulsory attendance laws.
Doctor’s notes or other supporting absence documentation may be uploaded and submitted online. Documentation to be submitted could include, but is not limited to:
Doctor Notes
College Visit Verifications
Proof of Driver’s License/Permit Appointment Attendance
The student's 8-digit ID number is required in order to complete the form, and may be found in Skyward Family Access. This process applies to both full-day and partial-day absences. Please note that a Skyward Absence Request submission regarding a doctor's visit does not qualify as a doctor's note.
Please use the “Submit Medical or Other Documentation” button to upload supporting absence documentation.

Cell Phone Policy
Personal communication devices will be completely prohibited from use during the entire school day and will not be permitted for instructional purposes, regardless of previous approval. Electronic devices are banned during instructional time, lunch, recess, transitions, and any periods on campus before dismissal. Campuses will NOT store devices for students.
Our goal is to create learning environments where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, free from the distractions that personal communication devices can create. By creating a phone-free climate, we're giving teachers the tools to teach without disruption and students the space to learn, think critically, and engage with one another face-to-face. This policy aligns with our commitment to providing focused, engaging learning environments where every student can succeed.
District-Issued Devices: Students will continue to have access to district-provided devices (such as laptops or tablets) for instructional purposes.
⏰ When is this policy in effect?
All instructional time
Lunch periods
Recess and break times
Transitions between classes
Any time students are on campus before dismissal
All grade levels across the district
Password Changes for ALL Students
To ensure a secure start to the school year, all student passwords will be reset on the evening of August 3, 2026. Parents, please make sure you retrieve your students' updated passwords so they are ready to access essential tools and information before the first day.
Why Are We Resetting Passwords?
We take your student’s data privacy and digital security very seriously. Routine password updates are a crucial best practice for safeguarding personal information, protecting online learning accounts, and ensuring our systems remain secure against unauthorized access.
Here’s what you need to know:
🔐 Password resets will affect all students district-wide.
Impact: Once completed, existing student passwords will no longer work, and students will need to log in using their new credentials.
🏫 For middle and high school students:
Technology staff will be available at Schedule Walks on each campus.
Look for our booth to pick up fliers, scan QR codes, and get help retrieving passwords.
💻 Students will need their updated password to access:
- Class schedules.
- Technology devices.
- Google Classroom and other learning platforms.

Technology & Screen Time in the Classroom
It's Not About the Clock
Screen time isn't about the clock — it's about what students are actually doing. Teachers plan lessons using a Purpose → Strategy → Tool framework: they start with the learning objective, choose the best teaching approach, and only then decide if a device fits.
Technology follows the lesson, not the other way around.
In practice, this means Chromebooks live on classroom carts at the elementary and middle school levels — brought out for specific tasks, not left on by default. Every digital tool is vetted, and student data is protected through district policy and vendor privacy agreements.
Optional Chromebook Protection Plan for Students in Grades 9-12
Every new Prosper ISD student in grades 9–12, along with returning incoming 9th graders, will be issued a Chromebook and charger for both school and home use. Returning students in grades 10-12, will continue to use the unit previously assigned to them. While these devices enhance learning opportunities, students are responsible for their care and protection. To help families manage potential repair costs, Prosper ISD offers an optional Technology Device Protection Plan.
RevTrack and Skyward Fee Management
New this year!
Parents needing to pay student fees can log in to Skyward Family Access to pay fees directly through Revtrak. This system creates a one stop shop for parents inside Skyward.
Web Store
The Revtrak Web Store will now only be used for taxable items being sold (t-shirts, school packs, etc)
Transportation Information
New for 2026-2027: Bus Rider ID Badges Required for All Bus Riders
To enhance student safety and accountability, all Prosper ISD bus riders in grades PK–12 will be required to have and use a Bus Rider ID Badge for transportation services.
Each badge contains RFID technology that helps us:
Confirm students are boarding the correct bus.
Improve rider accountability.
Assist with student location verification during transportation operations.
Support campus and parent inquiries.
- Enhance emergency response capabilities.
- Improve overall student safety.
What Parents Need to Know
Students should bring their Bus Rider ID Badge to school each day.
Students will scan their badge when boarding and exiting the bus.
If a badge is lost or damaged, please notify your campus as soon as possible.
Additional information regarding replacement badges will be shared by the campus.
The Bus Rider ID Badge program is designed to provide an added layer of safety and accountability while helping us better serve students and families.

Bus Safety Tips
🚍 Parents, let’s work together to keep our students safe! Our Transportation Team has essential tips to help ensure every bus ride this school year is safe, smooth, and successful.
Standard Response Protocol (SRP)
A Common Language for Campus Safety
Our District has adopted The “I Love U Guys” Foundation’s Standard Response Protocol (SRP). Students and staff will be training, practicing, and drilling the protocol.
COMMON LANGUAGE
The Standard Response Protocol (SRP) is based on an all-hazards approach as opposed to individual scenarios. Like the Incident Command System (ICS), SRP utilizes clear common language while allowing for flexibility in protocol. The premise is simple - there are five specific actions that can be performed during an incident. When communicating these, the action is labeled with a “Term of Art” and is then followed by a “Directive.” Execution of the action is performed by active participants, including students, staff, teachers and first responders. The SRP is based on the following actions: Hold, Secure, Lockdown, Evacuate, and Shelter.
tip411
tip411 is tool to enhance student safety. It is an internet-based communication system that gives students or any concerned citizen a means to quickly and anonymously report threats, potential self-harm, concerns, suspicious or criminal behavior at school or beyond school hours regarding PISD schools, students and/or staff.
When you submit a tip through any of the options below, it is sent to a 3rd party tip service acting as a privacy buffer between you and the Prosper ISD Police Department to preserve your identity and contact information. If you have a tip for the Prosper ISD Police Department, please use any of the options below to help provide important information on crimes or criminals that will help us to keep Prosper ISD safe for everyone.
Tip submissions may not be received until the following day. In case of an emergency, dial 911.
Back to School Bike & Scooter Safety
📚🚦 Back-to-School Safety PSA from Prosper ISD Police! 🚦📚
As our students head back to school, let's all do our part to keep everyone safe on the roads and in school zones! The Prosper ISD Police Department has some important reminders:
🛑 STOP! When you see a stop sign, make a complete stop.
🅿️ Slow down in the parking lot! School parking lots can be busy.
🚴♀️ Watch for bikes and scooters! They can be harder to spot.
📵 Stay off your phones! Distracted driving is dangerous driving.
🚶♂️ Look both ways at a crosswalk! Pedestrian safety is key.
Remember, when we say STOP, we mean a COMPLETE stop. Let's work together to help keep our kids safe this school year!
Happy Birthday Prosper Education Foundation
High School Activity Fee
At Prosper ISD, we believe every student deserves access to a vibrant, connected school experience. The $25 annual Activity Fee helps make that possible.
What the Activity Fee supports
This fee directly funds the programs and events that bring our campuses to life for every high school student — not just those who participate in extracurriculars. Campus-wide activities like pep rallies, homecoming celebrations, and school-sponsored events are made possible in part by this fee, creating the shared traditions and school spirit that define the Prosper experience.
The fee also supports the district's student safety programs, including our drug testing program, which helps ensure that all students can participate in a safe and healthy environment — on and off the field.
Who pays the Activity Fee
All high school students are required to pay the $25 Activity Fee annually. Payment is a condition of participation in extracurricular activities — including UIL, clubs, and organizations — and is required to obtain a parking permit for students who drive to campus.
The fee is nonrefundable.
How to pay
After completing enrollment or registration, log in to Skyward Family Access and navigate to the Fee Management area to pay the Activity Fee and any other applicable fees (such as a Parking Permit fee).
Students new to Prosper ISD: Please wait until your enrollment application has been approved before logging in to Family Access.
Update: Campus Events Going Cashless as of July 1
Starting July 1, 2026, all campus events will transition to cashless payment only. This applies to concessions, athletic events, natatorium events, and fine arts theatre events across all campuses.
For concessions, accepted payment methods include Credit/Debit Card, CashApp, and Apple Pay.
For athletic, natatorium, and fine arts events, payment methods will vary by campus. Please check with your specific campus for accepted payment options.
We encourage everyone to plan ahead and have a card or digital payment method ready before attending events. Cash will no longer be accepted at these activities.
Thank you for your cooperation as we modernize the payment experience across our campuses!
Updated Clear Bag Policy: Faster Entry at All Events
CLEAR BAGS ONLY
We'll be transitioning to a clear-bag policy at all ticketed events (including all athletic & fine arts events). This simple step helps our staff keep everyone safe with faster, easier entry.
Middle School Games - Volleyball & Basketball
🏫 Middle School Games – Same Site, Same Night – Volleyball & Basketball Middle school games will now be located on the same night at the same site. This change was made with our kids in mind — making it easier for families to attend, reducing travel, and allowing us to better supervise and support our student athletes.
Thank you for your continued support. These changes reflect our commitment to safety, efficiency, and putting kids first. We can't wait to see you at the games!
