  • Our monthly PTC meeting will be this Wednesday, November 6th at 6 pm in the library or via Zoom.
  • We expect fundraiser orders to be delivered to OTES mid to late week. Small orders will be sent home with students. Larger orders will need to be picked up. We will share pick-up times once the orders are delivered.
  • If you received a Holiday Help paper, please return it by Monday, November 4 or email your response to betsy.clark@rsu34.org by Monday.
  • Thank you to all the families that participated in our Pumpkin Decorating Contest. Please pick up your pumpkin in the library as soon as possible.
  • We will continue our Food Frenzy Food Drive, in partnership with UMaine student athletes, through the month of November. Thank you to those who have already sent donations!

🤝Handbook Highlight: Parent-Teacher Club (PTC)🤝

Parents, guardians, or other adults involved in the lives of OTES students are encouraged to be active participants in our PTC. This group is great for networking opportunities and all volunteer opportunities are optional! The many efforts of the PTC help to provide enriched school learning opportunities and fun for our students. Please watch for notices of meetings throughout the year. These meetings are typically the first Wednesday of the month from 6-7 pm in the OTES Library and via Zoom. This month's meeting will be this Wednesday, November 6th at 6 pm. The talents and interests of our families make this a valued resource in our school. If you cannot attend the monthly meeting, the meeting minutes are posted on our website. The PTC works with staff to host many events including community meals, during and after school activities, and with the library staff to host special events such as the annual author visit and book fair. There are opportunities to support our school and this organization in many different capacities! Each month we also try to feature at least one staff presentation to keep families informed about what is happening at OTES.
