Last week was a powerful reminder of what makes East Minico such a special place. We wrapped up finals and saw our students push through with focus and determination. We also took time to celebrate together as a school building. We are so proud of the meaningful connections that we have established with our students and families.
Beyond the classroom, our students showed what it means to persevere. Our 8th grade girls basketball team made an incredible turnaround, climbing from last in the conference at the start of the playoffs to now sitting in the top three and playing for a chance at the championship game. Our wrestling program also had an outstanding showing, with the boys team taking 1st place at districts and the girls earning 3rd. There are truly great things happening at East Minico, and they are a direct reflection of the dedication, resilience, and “never quit” mindset of our staff and students.
