First Day of School: August 13th (A-Day)

  • Students need to arrive at LT on August 13th knowing their 1st period (1A) class, teacher, and room number. This is important since students are NOT allowed to use personal communication devices (cell phones) to navigate the school. Please click here to view a short video on “how to view your schedule in HAC.”

  • Paper schedules will be distributed to all students in their 1st period class on Wednesday, August 13th.

  • Students with late arrival: pick up your paper schedule upon arrival in the cafeteria.

  • Students with a Dual Credit class 1st period pick up your paper schedule upon arrival in the cafeteria.

  • **The only students who have a class at the district's Career & Technology Education Center are those who see "@CTEC" at the end of the course description printed on the schedule and a room number starting with "X".

Student Pick Up and Drop Off

Bus Riders

Click here to access the FISD Transportation site which includes bus and route information.

Staff will be helping students find their bus after school.

Car Riders

The front entrance will be the only point of entry during drop off. Students dropped off at the north side of the building should walk around to the front entrance.

  • Parents can help out the traffic flow by following the map and being patient with one another. Once all parents learn the routine things will go much more smoothly.

  • Dropping off your student in the parking lot adds to the congestion entering and exiting our lot. Keep all students safe by following the map.

  • Parents, when at all possible, please avoid picking up your students during 12:25-12:45pm (advisory time), as this is the most fluid part of the day. During this time, it may be difficult to locate students as they will be attending tutorials.

Morning Arrival

We open the front doors daily by 8:20am and the athletic entrance doors by 8:35am. After 9:00am, the front door will be the only entrance. Until 8:30 students are asked to wait in the cafeteria, and asked to be seated at the cafeteria tables as they wait. After 8:30 students may continue to wait in the cafeteria, attend tutorials with a teacher, or utilize the resources available in the library. Breakfast will be served in the cafeteria until 8:55am.

Students arriving after 9:00 will need to use the doorbell; upperclassmen will need to show their school IDs and freshman students will inform the receptionist of their ID number. Once their IDs have been verified they will be allowed to enter the building.

No Food Deliveries or Deliveries of Any Kind

Food deliveries (and other deliveries) for students from parents or guardians are NOT permitted. No outside school deliveries from sources such as UBER, Lyft or restaurant delivery will be accepted. Students are NOT permitted to exit the building for pickups of any kind. Any deliveries will be confiscated by campus administration and not returned to students.

Crosswalk Safety

Keeping students safe on their journey to and from school takes all members of the community working together. Please watch this video with your student and discuss the critical role of the driver and the pedestrian in ensuring all students travel safely through the com

Your Safety Matters: Crosswalk Encounters

Student Parking & Parking Permits

Student parking lots are on the south side, and northeast side of the building (outside the band hall and by the football field).

Students who commute during the day to Collin or to the CTE will be required to enter the building through the front entrance and show their ID utilizing the front door bell system. All student drivers utilizing the school parking lots are required to purchase a parking sticker for the 2025-2026 school year.

Your student may purchase a parking sticker by completing the Parking Permit Form. Please submit payment by visiting onlineschoolfees.com and submitting the required documents. Your student may then pick up the parking sticker in the Front Office with the appropriate ID. Failure to purchase a permit may result in extra fines and/or loss of parking privileges. If students park in designated staff or visitor parking places, they will be stickered and required to move their car during the school day.

Parking Permits will only be issued during lunches on the first day of school.

In alignment with Texas House Bill 1481 and Frisco ISD policy, students are prohibited from using personal electronic devices — including cell phones, smartwatches, earbuds, tablets, and personal laptops — during the entire school day, bell-to-bell, including during lunch, advisory, passing periods, and restrooms.

We will begin enforcing this law on the first day of school. Families are encouraged to talk with students in advance to help set clear expectations.

Campus Expectations:

  • All personal devices must be turned off and stored in a backpack or bag (NOT on your person) by the 9:00 AM tardy bell.

  • Students arriving after 1st period must have devices off and secured prior to entering the building.

  • Devices must remain off during CTE shuttle transportation.

  • Students with early release may power on devices after leaving the building.

  • Devices may be powered on again after the 4:25 PM dismissal bell.

Enforcement Details:

  • All staff members are expected to enforce the policy.

  • Devices seen, heard, or used during the school day will be confiscated and securely stored in the front office, with returns handled according to the Student Code of Conduct.

  • Frisco ISD recommends students leave devices at home. Families who choose to send a device assume responsibility for any loss, damage, or theft.

More Info Coming Soon:

  • Students will review campus-specific procedures during the first days of school.

Student Dress Code

As we return from summer, common dress code issues include see-through fabrics, strapless or bare midriff tops, underwear-style sleeveless shirts, beachwear, swimwear, tube tops, and low-cut clothing — all of which are NOT permitted.

Students who violate the dress code will be asked to change into appropriate attire, which the school will provide when possible. Students are not allowed to leave campus to change clothes, and parent drop-offs for clothing are not permitted.

Secondary students who refuse to comply with the dress code may be assigned to In-School Suspension for the day.

Click here to view the full FISD Dress Code.

Early Release & Late Arrival - Reminders

Late Arrival

  • Arrive just before 2nd period (10:30 AM)

  • Enter through the front entrance with your student ID

  • No library or cafeteria access is available during 1st period

Early Release

  • Students must exit campus by 3:00 PM

  • No library or cafeteria access is available during 4th period

Video Door Monitoring

All exterior doors will be locked throughout the school day. Visitors, including parents and guardians, will need to use the video doorbell monitor at the main entrance to request access. A staff member will verify your identity before granting entry.

  • Students: Students arriving late must present their student ID to be admitted into the building.

  • Parents/Guardians: When you arrive, please have your driver's license ready to present to the video monitor.

Student Sign-Out

To check a student out during the school day, you will use the video doorbell monitor. With the new legislative changes, we will be adjusting our previous practice of encouraging parents to text students upon arrival. To avoid disruptions to the classroom and ensure a smooth process, please ensure your student is aware of any scheduled appointments. If an unexpected situation arises, such as an early appointment or a need to pick up your child, the front office will contact the student directly by notifying the classroom.

These new procedures will help us maintain a secure learning environment for everyone and ensure that we are in compliance with the new law. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we make this transition.

Door Monitor Instructions

  • Press the ring bell and wait for a response;

    • The ring will light up and you will hear a doorbell chime.

    • There may be a pause before you receive a response.

  • When you hear a response:

    • Hold your ID close to the camera

    • State your reason for visiting Lebanon Trail HS

  • If you are picking up a student:

    • Scan the QR Code to complete the Check Out Form

    • If your driver’s license has previously been scanned, please wait outside or in your vehicle for your student.

    • You will be asked to enter the office if your driver’s license has not been scanned.

    • Report your student’s absence using the Report an Absence feature on the LTHS website or by replying to the attendance email.

Trail Blazer &Titan Teachers kicked off the school year with a conference-style Professional Learning event! The day featured powerful sessions led by LT & CHS teachers, as well as District leaders.

We had a powerful opening speech delivered by our very own Dhiya Viswanathan. Dhiya shared a message straight from the heart of a student, which resonated with our teachers, reminding them of their purpose and impact and helping energize them for the upcoming school year. Dhiya we are so very proud to call you our own! Thank you!

Additionally, a big thank you to our STUCO officers for serving refreshments to our LT and CHS teachers. The teachers were so thankful and appreciative of your efforts!
