Debate and Science Champions!
It was an exciting Friday for our MS 50 community! We are so proud of our debate team which brought home the 1st Place Trophy to MS 50! Special shoutout to 8th graders Selena and Alex who won the top prize in the Spanish language division. We also had several students representing our school at the Billion Oyster Project 2023 Student Symposium where 6th grader Maya was awarded a certificate for an Exemplary Project! We love to celebrate the all successes of our students as they demonstrate the results of all their hard work this year.

Our first annual 6th and 7th grade science fair was a huge success! This exciting community event featured nearly 50 art projects, food, prizes, and more. We are so excited to see our young scientists continue to grow and flourish! Check out photos of the fair on our website!
D14 Elementary Debate Tournament
The warranties for iPads provided by the DOE during the pandemic are expiring at the end of this school year. If your student's iPad is currently broken or in need of repair, please return it to school by June 14 so that we can get it repaired for free and returned to you before summer break. Please attach a note with your child's name and their homeroom to the device if possible to make collection and distribution as easy as possible.
It is a busy month for our Seniors! Keep note of the dates below and check for updates at ms50.org/graduation, there will be a livestream of Graduation on that page as well!
