Whirlwind Week!

Dear Croce Families,

What a whirlwind of a week—literally! We’re grateful the windstorm has passed without any power outages!

This week at Croce was filled with activity and excitement! We had picture re-takes, a bike repair day on campus, memorable field trips, a Student Council meeting, and a great turnout for our Pizza Guys Dine Out fundraiser. All of this while adjusting to the time change—it was quite a week indeed!

Be on the lookout for our next PBIS Family Homework Lesson centered around perseverance! We want our students to understand that it is okay to do hard things, and that pushing through challenges helps them learn and grow. We’d love to hear how you help your child when things get tough, and how you point out the hard things they’ve already achieved by not giving up—like learning to ride a bike, mastering a sport like baseball, and so much more!

Monday, November 11th – Veterans Day Holiday

Looking ahead, we hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved three-day weekend in honor of Veterans Day on Monday, November 11th. Let’s take a moment to reflect on and appreciate the incredible service and sacrifices made by our veterans.

Wednesday, November 13th – National Kindness Day

We’re excited to celebrate National Kindness Day on Wednesday, November 13th! Let’s all show our commitment to kindness by wearing green to mark this special day.

Wednesday, November 13th & Thursday, November 14th – Vision & Hearing Screenings

Next week, we will be conducting Vision and Hearing Screenings on Wednesday, November 13th, and Thursday, November 14th. This screening is for our TK/K, 2nd, and 5th-grade students.

Thursday, November 14th – PTA Dine Out at Flaca’s

Join us for a fun night at the PTA Dine Out at Flaca's on Thursday, November 14th! It’s a great opportunity to enjoy good food while supporting our school (and not have to do dishes!)

A gentle reminder for our TK/K families: please remember to leave promptly once school is dismissed. While we absolutely love having your children on campus during the day, we have special education classes that need playground access and older students with scheduled PE sessions in the afternoons. Promptly clearing the campus helps ensure a smooth, secure, and organized school day for all.

Have a wonderful weekend!
