Kindergarten puting their field trip to use!
Kindergarten also investigated pumpkins. They measured height with unifix cubes, circumference with links and measuring tape, counted lines on the pumpkin, used magnifying glasses to explore closer and counted the seeds. They found 476!
FFA National Convention
Our Tuscumbia FFA members had an unforgettable time at the National FFA Convention! Students enjoyed touring Fair Oaks Farms and RDM Aquaculture, along with cheering on our very own Henry Patterson and Sarah Ahart as they crossed the BIG stage to receive honors for their Agriscience projects! Here are just a few highlights from the trip. Be sure to visit our Tuscumbia FFA Facebook page to see more pictures and memories!

Ag Classes
Our Ag classes have been busy putting their skills to work! Ag 1 and 2 students have been building a variety of wooden projects, from cornhole boards to yard signs and everything in between. Ag 1 has also been hard at work expanding our school garden by relocating and rebuilding raised garden beds. Meanwhile, Ag Construction students have been creating impressive projects, including custom cutting boards, a new cutting table, and much more. We are proud to see our students’ creativity, craftsmanship, and hands-on skills in action!
Mrs. Wyrick took all of the K-4 classes on a tour of our local museum.

Are you interested in becoming a substitute teacher?
If you are interested in becoming a substitute teacher and you do not have the required 36 college hours, you can do an online course that will allow you to get a substitute certificate. Here is the link to that course, and here is the link to the DESE web page that gives you more information about what you need to do to get a substitute certification.
