Ingraham News
Hi Ingraham Families,
We made it through PSAT/SAT testing! Huge shoutout to Jen Luthe, Ingraham’s Testing Coordinator, who orchestrated a flawless day and made sure every student who wanted to take the test had the opportunity to do so. 65% of juniors completed the PSAT and 46% of seniors completed the SAT. Also, a huge thank you to the entire Ingraham staff for proctoring and monitoring throughout the day, it truly takes a village to make that happen!

Ingraham PRIDE Awards Leveling UP
New PRIDE awards just dropped! Students can now give PRIDE awards to others (other students and staff). Has your student seen someone showing perseverance, respect, integrity, diversity, or encouragement? Your student can recognize them by filling out one of the below PRIDE award cards.
Students can find these in the counseling office before school, after school, during passing periods, and during lunch.
Every week, the Ingraham administrators will randomly select one PRIDE award winner per grade level to win a prize. These prizes include: making the school announcements for a day, playing a song in the lunchroom, a VIP parking spot, picking a theme for staff spirit day, free Ingraham merch, or free admission to an Ingraham event for your student and a friend.
This Week’s PRIDE Award Winners: Jen Luthe and Grace Sweet
Grace Sweet:
For showing respect and encouragement to her fellow classmates. Grace lead a study group for PSAT/SAT prep in Ingraham's library. Thank you Grace for taking the initiative to help your classmates prepare for the test.

Jen, your hard work, organization, and dedication made PSAT/SAT day run smoothly from start to finish. Global Learning Opportunities for Students
As an IB World School, we encourage students to consider studying abroad during high school as a way to develop cross-cultural communication skills, build independence, and gain global perspectives. Immersing themselves in another culture helps students grow as independent thinkers and compassionate global citizens, strengthening both their academic and personal journeys.
Learn more about study abroad opportunities available to our students. Most programs take place during the summer. Families are also invited to a CIEE Study Abroad Information Night in the Ingraham Library on Tuesday, October 28 at 7 p.m.
Ingraham AP registration and fees due date: October 31st (before 5 pm) !
As you have hopefully heard from your student’s AP teacher, the deadline to register and pay exam fees is rapidly approaching. Students who want to take their AP class’s exam need to register for it online using a course “join code” from their teacher. The exam fee of $125.00 also needs to be paid to Ingraham. Fees can be paid by cash or check at Ingraham’s Fiscal Office or via SchoolPay. Please be aware that exam fees paid via SchoolPay have a service fee added. Both registration and exam fee payment must be completed before the deadline of October 31st.
Does your student qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch? If so, please contact Jennifer Luthe at jlluthe@seattleschools.org or in person in room 162 Before paying the exam fee. Students on our FRL list have a significantly lower fee.
Ingraham only has 4 AP exams available due to our extensive IB offerings: AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Computer Science A, and AP Statistics. Before paying and registering for an AP exam, please check for conflicts with IB testing. If your student is hoping to take an AP exam other than those provided at Ingraham, you will need to complete a district-level form to demonstrate interest and determine availability. Please keep an eye on your e-mail or go to the District’s Assessment website
