January 24th School Assembly: Super U Challenge!
We are SUPER excited for this coming Friday! Our HFSA is providing an assembly for all students. Thank you to Mrs. Diana Radford for scheduling and planning the assembly.
THIS IS NO ORDINARY SCHOOL ASSEMBLY
“Super U! Challenge” is a one-of-a-kind school assembly that uses a unique format of a wacky kid’s TV game show to help students understand that their words and actions impact everyone around them, and to empower every grade level to do their part to create a safe and friendly school community.
March Book Fair
The HFSA islooking for a volunteer to chair the Scholastic Book Fair in March. If a couple of people interested, two volunteers as co-chairs would also work. The HFSA will share their experience and information about the process, and put you in touch with our coordinator at Scholastic. They are very helpful with any questions. The fair is already on the calendar for March 2nd-5th, with set up on February 28th. The chairperson would need to available to run the book fair for the week, with the help of volunteers. Please let the HFSA or Mrs. Mullins know if you would be interested in either chairing or co-chairing this event for the students.
Hunter Family Swim Night: January 31st, 2020
When: Friday January 31, 2020 from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Where: Flat Rock Community Center, 1 Maguire Street, Flat Rock, MI 48134
Cost: $3.00 / person (only those swimming)
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: All children MUST be accompanied by an adult. Any child under the age of 8 years old MUST have a parent swim with them. Children age 8 years and older may swim alone but a parent must be present. All Hunter family members are welcome!
PLEASE RSVP by Thursday, January 23rd so that we can give a rough total of swimmers to the FRCC. USE THIS LINK TO RSVP They need this to ensure they have enough life guards on duty. Thank you!
