Thank you to all the families for supporting our Attendance Pool Party. We had most students at school and those that were absent contacted the school to explain the absence. Students enjoyed a sausage sizzle lunch, along with a zooper dooper icy pole on the day. Thank you to all the Staff for a fantastic morning at the pool - the students certainly enjoyed themselves.
We have a few children attending school when they are sick. If your child is unwell please keep them at home so that their germs are not shared across the class.
Thank you to those parents who attended our Annual Community Meeting on Wednesday 21st February. The School Annual Report was presented and nominations accepted for our School Advisory Council (SAC). We still require two parent representatives to form our SAC so if you are able to give up an hour once per term, please forward your name to Jenna in the Office.
We have our Faction Swimming carnival tomorrow for students in Years 2 - 6. The carnival starts at 8.30am and we should all be back at school by 12.00pm. Notes have gone home with students with final details today. Students will need to come to school with their bathers and faction coloured clothing and appropriate shoes to walk to the pool. Please NO coloured hair spray.
Our next assembly will be held on FRIDAY 8th March at 8.00am in the Multi-purpose Room. We will have a St John of God Liturgy, conducted by the Year 5/6 class first, followed by the presentation of merit certificates. We look forward to seeing you on the day to celebrate this liturgy.
