Greetings WBS Families!
Dear Parents & Families,
Greetings and happy November to you all. Last week, we enjoyed many fun seasonal events and held our Halloween parade on Friday 10/30. Our school was filled with some really fun costumes including: Spiderman, Batman, Michael Jackson, Wednesday Adams, Cheerleaders, Disney Princesses, Pokemon characters, Mario & Luigi and many more. Mr. Smith did a wonderful job of serving as our parade emcee playing all kinds of Halloween tunes. Our students had so much fun showing off their costumes and enjoyed a Halloween/Fall social with their classmates. A huge thanks to everyone who donated to our socials. We couldn't do it without you!
As we move into November, here are a few highlights of the events coming up over the next two weeks:
Tuesday 11/3 - No school (Election Day)
Tuesday 11/3 - Home & School Fundraiser at Broad Street Pizza
Wednesday 11/4 - Grade 4 PALS Training at the Boys & Girls Club
Friday 11/6 - November Spirit Assembly in the Gym
Tuesday 11/10 - November Home & School Meeting 7:00 PM in the Library
Thursday 11/12 - Picture Retake Day
Please take a moment to sign up for our November Parent/Teacher conferences which will take place during the week of 11/23. Your child's teacher has sent out details on how to sign up. Please reach out to them if you still need to pick a date and time. Conferences are available in person, via Teams or over the phone. We look forward to meeting with you and updating you on your child's academic and social progress thus far.
