Permenter Longhorn Back to School

I count it as joy to return to Permenter Middle School for a second year as your campus principal! As we prepare to usher in our scholars for the 23-24 school year, we want to provide some critical information to help this transition:

• If you have not re-enrolled your scholar in Skyward for the 2023-2024 school year, please do so quickly. Failure to do so will result in delays in your scholar starting the new year.
• All backpacks for the 23-24 school year must be clear or made of mesh material.
• If you want your scholar to ride the school bus to and or from school, you must complete the transportation registration process. That is funneled through the transportation department. More information can be found here. All questions pertaining to school year 2023-2024 routes should be forwarded to Transportation Routing at 972-293-5599 ext. 104.
• All 2023-24 Bus Routes are NOW posted in your scholar's Skyward account under "Busing." Transportation asks that parents/scholars check back again the Friday before school starts in case of any last-minute minor changes.
• 2023-2024 supply lists for all campuses can be found here.
• Please review the 2023-2024 CHISD Dress Code found here.
• Our open house and schedule pick-up for those cleared is Thursday, August 10th, 5:00 - 6:30 PM.
• Avoid the Long Lines - Register Online Today!
Parents, if your scholar attended CHISD last school year, you can complete the entire enrollment application process online. If you have forgotten your Skyward username or password you can send an email to family.access@chisd.net for assistance. If you need access to technology or prefer to register in person, please stop by the Lacy Enrollment Center, located at 504 Belt Line Rd., Cedar Hill, Texas 75104. Once you complete the registration forms and upload your proof of residency, your child is registered.

We look forward to greeting you this Thursday as we begin an amazing 2023-2024 school year!

Faithfully,

Dr. Lemons

Principal, Permenter Middle School
