CCA Connections
Join Us for Our First CCA Connections of the Year!
We are excited to invite you to our very first CCA Connections event of the school year! CCA Connections is a series of informal morning gatherings designed to help families connect with our school's leadership and community.
For our September meeting, there is no formal presentation topic. Instead, our focus is simply to welcome families to the new school year and introduce CCA Connections. This is a wonderful, low-pressure opportunity for families to come in, get to know the administration, and ask any questions you might have as we kick off the new school year.
Most importantly, we want to hear from you! We will be using this time to gather your feedback on what you would like to learn about this year. Your input will directly help us plan engaging and relevant programming for future CCA Connections events.
Event Details
Date: Wednesday, September 2, 2026

We look forward to sipping coffee, answering your questions, and building a strong partnership with you this year!
Nurse Alex's Notes from the Nest
Sunscreen/SPF Parent Permission Form
With upcoming field trips and outdoor activities with service day, please remind families that students should have sunscreen (SPF) applied at home before coming to school.
If a student will need sunscreen applied or reapplied during the school day, we will need the attached Sunscreen/SPF Parent Permission Form completed and signed.
Families may either:
Send their preferred sunscreen from home, labeled with their child’s name, or
Give permission for their child to use the generic SPF provided by the school (picture attached).
A signed permission form is required for either option.
Back to School, Back to Healthy Habits
Now that our CCA Eagles are settling back into their normal routines, here are a few simple ways to help keep everyone healthy:
- Wash hands with soap and water as soon as you get home.
- Fuel up with colorful fruits and vegetables, protein, and plenty of water to support a healthy immune system.
- Prioritize sleep as kids adjust to early school mornings. Consistent bedtimes can make a big difference.
- Wipe down high-touch items like backpacks, water bottles, lunchboxes, and Chromebooks regularly.
What we're seeing: Lots of typical back-to-school colds, runny noses, congestion, and sore throats.
Here's to a healthy school year and keeping our Eagles ready to soar!
