RCHS Vocational Programs 2024-25
New RCHS Vocational Programs Off and Running
RCHS started 3 new vocational programs for the 2024-25 school year. The new programs are:
-Fire and Rescue
-Criminal Justice
-Emergency Medical Services
We are so excited about the energy our instructors have brought to these new programs! Thank you Mr. Jarman, Mr. Tracy, and Mr. Hufford!
Emergency Medical Services
Our EMS program has done many great things already this school year. We have had students pass their Patient Care Tech certification tests, get many hours of hands on training, and even visit a cadaver lab!
Fire and Rescue
The Fire and Rescue class has had the opportunity to get extensive training from Mr. Tracy, who still works as a Fire Fighter in the Sugar Creek Fire Department. The class has had the chance to listen to many speakers, get Hazmat certified, and visit a training facility
Criminal Justice
Our Criminal Justice students have been able to learn about all the different careers in the Criminal Justice field. Officers from Rushville PD recently brought 3 different K-9 officers in to demonstrate all the tasks they can perform.
