Happy Sunday Panther Families,

First, thank you for supporting another SOLD OUT Donut Day! We appreciate your continued support for our PTA! Remember that all money goes to PTA to support school events and programs!

A few reminders to help our next Donut Day run smoothly:

Please place money in your child’s folder labeled with your child’s name, especially for our little Panthers.
Students must be present during morning arrival from 8:00–8:30 a.m., as this is when orders are collected.
We are unable to accept late orders once the school day begins, as we want to protect instructional time and avoid classroom interruptions.

Thank you for helping us keep Donut Day fun, organized, and running smoothly!

One of our favorite events of the year is happening this week! On October 7, we’ll be cheering on our incredible Panthers as they participate in the Annual Marietta Adapted Games!

We are so proud of our students that will participate and can’t wait to see them shine, compete, and have FUN! Join us in wishing our Panthers the very best of luck! GO PANTHERS!

We have a busy and exciting week ahead at Park Street! 🎉 This week, we’re celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month Spirit Week, with fun opportunities for all of our Panthers to learn, celebrate, and experience Hispanic culture throughout the week. We’re looking forward to a great week of learning, celebration, and Panther pride! 🐾

Hispanic Heritage Month Block Party is THIS Thursday!

Important Message: A New Way to Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month! 🎉

Panther families,

Hispanic Heritage Month is always a special time of year at Park Street, and we are excited to celebrate in a new way this year! As our Panther community has grown, so has the number of families who want to join us in celebrating. In partnership with our PTA, we have reimagined this year's celebration to create an experience that allows our entire Panther community to celebrate together. This year, instead of our traditional grade-level performances, we are taking the celebration outside with our Hispanic Heritage Month Block Party! Join us for an evening filled with food trucks, music, a dance showcase, performances from our Performing Panthers, and plenty of opportunities to celebrate the beautiful cultures represented throughout our school community. We hope the outdoor setting gives even more of our families the opportunity to comfortably join in the celebration!

But don't worry—we aren't saying goodbye to seeing our Panthers perform! Again, we are simply reimagining it. Throughout the school year, different grade levels will be featured during our monthly assemblies, giving each grade its own special opportunity to take the stage to perform in both English & Spanish. This allows us to allows for a more comfortable setting to accommodate families and students. October will feature our 2nd grade. *More details coming soon.

We are excited to celebrate Hispanic heritage in ways that bring our families together while also creating new Park Street traditions along the way. Ama tu cultura, vive tu gente! Love your culture, celebrate your people! 💙💛

Reminder: Parent-Teacher Conferences | October 12–16

**** Please remember that students will be dismissed at 1:15 p.m. Oct. 12–16.

Parent-Teacher Conferences are a wonderful opportunity to connect with your child's teacher(s)! Come prepared with questions, ready to learn about your child's progress, and eager to discover ways you can support their learning at home.

We encourage families to begin making dismissal arrangements NOW, especially if your child does not ride the bus. We understand that early dismissal can be challenging for working families and appreciate your planning ahead. We look forward to partnering with you to help every Panther succeed! 💙💛
