MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Aloha Ohana!

“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.” – Harriet Tubman

We are one FriYAY away from summer break! The pass few weeks was quite busy with many fun activities for staff and students to participate in. Last week we had our End of the Year fun day. The day was amazing! Students, staff, and parents came together for some fun in the sun!

This week our 3rd graders were able to visit Miller School to learn about the school, take a tour, and meet Principal Battersby. On Thursday, June 8th, the students showcased their talents during the Lip Sync event. It was a great night! The students were singing and dancing the night away as the crowd cheered.

With just one more FriYAY left and one full school week remaining, we are gearing up for our 3rd grade dance, Rock and Roll Recess, and the final 3rd grade/retiree clap out. As we continue to finish strong and recognize the students for all of their achievements during Student Appreciation Week. We want to also recognize two of our retirees, Ms. Fiola and Ms. Tuthill, for their love and dedication to the students and their many years of service.

Enjoy the weekend!

Choral Fest Favorites

Our Davenport Honors Choir was invited to participate in the Child Choral Festival in Cape May on Thursday. Not only did our students sing their hearts out, but they also got to enjoy a picnic lunch by the ocean while watching dolphins swimming nearby. They were the youngest Choir there and a fan favorite!

Daily Pledgers

First-grade student, Carter B., shows off a big smile after receiving his certificate for leading the Primary School in the Pledge of Allegiance on Friday.
