FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Hello Families,
Our Annual Fall Festival is next Thursday! This exciting event is a fun way to bring our community together while helping teachers raise funds for classroom needs. We’ve extended online ticket sales—skip the lines and purchase your tickets online before Sunday, October 26th!
Partners for Life Meeting
We value your input! You are invited to join us for a collaborative session to review and provide feedback on our Parent Involvement Policy and Parent-Student-Teacher Compact. Your insights help ensure that our school and families work together to support student success. You can view last year's documents by clicking here. We will be reviewing and editing these on October 28th.
Date: October 28, 2025
Time: 7:45 AM
Location: Art Room
We hope you can join us and share your thoughts. Your voice matters!
Lost & Found Items
Please be sure to label your child’s items with their first and last name and check any items your child brings home, as jackets and sweaters can easily get mixed up during the day. Next week, our Lost & Found items will be displayed on tables, so please take a moment to look for any missing belongings that may belong to your child.
Gifted/Talented Referrals
The Gifted/Talented referral window is October 27 - November 6, 2025. Referrals must be submitted by November 6, 2025. Please contact your student's teacher or campus counselor for further information regarding prerequisites and the referral process.
Join the LifeLeader Group on Parent Square
The LifeLeader Group is your go-to spot for exploring the 15 LifeLeader attributes your student is learning at school. Inside the group, you’ll find access to Life Habits, articles, activities, and games that help bring these attributes to life at home. It’s also a great way to stay informed about how LifeLeader is being used on campus and to learn how to speak the same LifeLeader language your student uses every day. Click here to join the LifeLeader Group.
Yearbook Pictures
Families are invited to contribute to our school yearbook by uploading photos through the designated link provided below. Please note that while we welcome all submissions, not every photograph will be included in the final publication, as selections will be made to ensure a balanced and representative yearbook. We appreciate your support in helping us capture the many memorable moments of this school year.

We would like to recognize LSRO staff for all the amazing things that they do each day for our students. If you have someone that you would like to brag about, please fill out this form and we will share the Shout Outs through the weekly Thursday Exchange.

DEVELOPING LEADERS AT LSRO
Weekly I Will Statements
During morning announcements, we will focus on one LifeLeader Attribute each week and learn what we need to do to develop each attribute so that we can become effective leaders in our school and in our community. We encourage students and families to memorize these statements together and talk about how the attribute is exhibited at home, school and work. We will share the I Will statement in the weekly newsletter and on our campus Facebook page. We look forward to hearing how students are exhibiting the attributes at school and home. LifeLeader School Rules - Growing Leaders of Character
LifeLeader School Rules - Growing Leaders of Character
During the first six weeks of school, we’re introducing our LifeLeader School Rules to help students grow as leaders of strong character. Every two weeks, we’ll focus on one of the three school rules, reinforcing positive behaviors that support our mission.
We invite you to partner with us by asking your child how they are demonstrating these school rules both at school and at home.
Click here to view the teacher guide with examples of behaviors that align with each rule
