Rincon Community News #12
November 1, 2026

Principal Weekly Message
Greetings Rincon Community,
It has been an incredible week at Rincon, highlighted by the energy and leadership of our students. From the impactful messages of Red Ribbon Week, ASB activities to our WEB leaders hosting engaging events, our campus has been buzzing with activity. We also want to thank everyone who participated in our recent Spirit Days—it is wonderful to see our school community come together with such enthusiasm and pride.
Time Change & Academic Check-ins We hope everyone is enjoying the extra hour of rest following the end of Daylight Savings Time! As we settle into these shorter days, please keep in mind that the end of the Trimester is fast approaching on November 13th. This is an ideal time to sit down with your learner, review their progress, and ensure they are feeling supported as they finish the term strong.
Día de los Muertos Family Art Night We are thrilled to invite you to our first-ever Family Night, co-hosted by our PTSA in collaboration with our Art, AVID, and Cooking and Crafting students. This Friday will be a vibrant celebration of community and creativity.
When: Friday, November 6th
Time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Where: Rincon Campus
Student Handmade Craft Market Our students have been working hard on unique crafts available for purchase. All proceeds go to the PTSA to benefit our student body.
We look forward to seeing all of our families this Friday for a night of art, food, and fun!
October Perfect Attendance Challenge
We celebrated over 200 students for perfect attendance in October with a special Spooktacular celebration during 7th period on a Friday. Huge thanks to the families who provided candy — your support made the celebration extra sweet. Congratulations to all the students for their commitment to their learning
Red Ribbon Week rocked this week!
Civic Engagement: Rincon as a Polling Site
Please be aware that Rincon will serve as an official polling site for the upcoming statewide elections. We encourage all eligible members of our community to get out and vote! It is a great opportunity to model civic responsibility for our students.
Together we are better in setting up our Bulldogs up to B.A.R.K (Believe, Achieve, Respect, and Kindness) for success!
With gratitude,
Principal Meglich
