Enjoy your weekend and we will see you on Monday.
Warm wishes,

Kindergarten Registration Information - Please Read
Walpole 2026-2027 Kindergarten Pre-registration will be conducted from January 5–January 30, 2026.
*Kindergarten age-qualified children are those that have turned five (5) years old before September 1 of the school year for which they are pre-registering.
If your child is currently enrolled or receiving special education services through Daniel Feeney Preschool Center, you do not need to submit the online registration form, birth certificate, or proof of residency. However, you will need to provide the elementary school with a copy of your child’s latest physical.
If your student will turn five by September 1, 2026 and you do NOT plan on sending him/her to Kindergarten, please contact Julie Martin as soon as possible.
Application for the 2026-2027 School Year
We are excited to announce that the application window will officially open on January 5, 2026.
This program offers a wonderful opportunity for children to learn and grow in an inclusive, engaging environment. Please review the following important details regarding the enrollment process:
Application Date: Applications will be available starting January 5, 2026.
Selection Process: All peer slots will be filled via a lottery system. This means there is no advantage to applying "first," provided your application is submitted within the designated window. The application window will remain open for two weeks.
More Information: For program details, eligibility requirements, and the application link, please visit our website at: Daniel Feeney Preschool Application
Please contact Julie Martin, Director of the Daniel Feeney Preschool, with any questions: jmartin@walpole.k12.ma.us or 508-660-7374 ext. 5681
Our Hand Me Up Event is Coming Soon!
We are seeking volunteers for the event and to help sort, fold, and label clothing items prior to the event. A Sign Up Genius will be shared soon. Thank you.

Weekly Lunch Menu
Please email your child's teacher in advance if you would like your student to get school lunch. As a reminder, lunch is free for all students and there are also daily options for bagel, cereal, or yogurt instead of the hot lunch option.
Monday: Chicken Nuggets
Tuesday: Hamburger, Cheeseburger, Veggie Burger
Thursday: Pancakes
Friday: Pizza
Cold Weather Gear Reminder
Please remember to dress your child in appropriate cold weather gear: hats, MITTENS (much easier to put on and off than gloves), coats and appropirate footwear. We will go outside unless the "real feel" temperature is below 20 degrees.
Remember to label everything please!
Your child's classsroom teacher will communicate when to pack snow gear for a "snow play day" (snow pants, boots, etc.).
