Questions from PPC Members
Follow up discussion on last month’s bullet point regarding Job Descriptions
Last month, we discussed job descriptions on apply.sdale.org. Members were concerned about their vagueness and inconsistency and suggested a template for job openings to save time and ensure uniformity.
The PPC had a discussion last year regarding the lack of visibility of the chain of command when employees face issues or grievances. As a result, Kelly Hayes and Jeremy White started working on a flowchart, but it was never completed. The process needs to be made more accessible and easier to understand for all classified employees. Further discussion is required to achieve this goal.Classified Staff Emails
The committee discussed the importance of classified staff checking their district email regularly. Obstacles include device access, login issues, and limited time.
The PPC formed a subcommittee to improve Classified Employee Engagement with members including Damon Donnell, Robin McDonald, Debbie Wiemer, and Ismael Delgado.
Classified Banquet
Discuss making prize drawings more efficient and increasing staff attendance at the classified banquet.
