We had over 850 socks donated for Socktober this year! We were also given some hats and blankets from a staff member. We donated socks to a local Anchorage shelter and the Fisher House on JBER.

The winning Advisory class was Mrs. DeGroot’s class!

Thank you so much to everyone who donated items this year!

Indigenous Peoples Heritage Month is a time to honor and celebrate the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of Indigenous peoples.

With a focus on the Upper Cook Inlet region, this month highlights the traditions, stories, and enduring presence of the Dena’ina people, who have stewarded these lands for thousands of years. It is an opportunity to recognize the deep connection between the Dena’ina and their ancestral territories, to share their language, art, and knowledge, and to support ongoing efforts to preserve and revitalize their heritage for future generations. The month encourages all communities to learn from and with the Dena’ina, fostering respect, understanding, and partnership in the Upper Cook Inlet area.
