Gahanna Lincoln High School
2024-2025
A Message from Mrs. Williams
Can you believe we’re already in March? Spring is right around the corner, and with it comes a fresh burst of energy, new opportunities, and of course, the excitement of wrapping up another quarter!
This time of year is a great reminder that learning isn’t just about grades. It’s about growth, discovery, and pushing ourselves to be better every day. Whether your student is gearing up for a big project, preparing for upcoming activities, or just finding their rhythm in their classes, let’s cheer them on to finish strong and embrace the challenges ahead.
And let’s be honest, longer days, warmer weather, and maybe even a little spring fever are on the way! Keep encouraging your students to stay engaged, stay motivated, and most importantly, keep having fun while learning. Wishing you all a fantastic week ahead!
Go Lions!

Students of the Week: Celebrating P.R.I.D.E.
Congratulations to our GLHS Students of the Week for the week of February 24! These outstanding students were recognized for exemplifying our core values of Purpose, Respect, Integrity, Diversity, and Excellence (P.R.I.D.E.) in all they do.
This recognition is part of the A Student Above initiative, proudly sponsored by Jersey Mike’s. Each student has demonstrated what it truly means to live out P.R.I.D.E., making a positive impact on our school community.
Way to go Troy Bryant, Callianne Fodor, Sofia Gassama, Ella King, and Matthew Leeseberg.
Keep shining!
Spread the Word Campaign
It’s time to SPREAD THE WORD that EVERY VOICE COUNTS!
Spread the Word is our annual campaign to use and support inclusive language! This year our wonderful SWAG students put together a beautiful logo reminding us that EVERY VOICE COUNTS no matter how we communicate! Gahanna schools will be celebrating the campaign on March 26!
Shirts are on sale for one week only! Proceeds will benefit students in our Extended Support Services Classes here at the high school. Click here to purchase your shirt today!
Lions Thrift
As an event this spring, GLHS Student Council is organizing Lions Thrift which is a free clothing swap event for students and staff at the high school. We will be holding the event during lunch and homeroom periods on March 24th in the Main Gym.
We are hoping to collect donations from students, staff, and family members from March 3, through March 17. We will have collection bins at Clark Hall, the Main Office, the entrance to the building at L doors, outside the cafeteria, in the Paw Print, and on the 3rd floor of J building.
We are asking that you could please donate any lightly used clothing items that you are willing. We will be collecting a wide variety of items including:
Shirts
Pants
Shoes
Jewelry
Accessories
Sweatshirts
Dresses
Formal wear (old hoco/prom)
And more!
The items we are NOT collecting include:
Undergarments
Socks
Swimwear
Hats
Please spread the word and help us bring this event to life this year! This is a great opportunity to start some spring cleaning early, and give these clothes a new life. Additionally, we will be donating any leftover clothing to our local thrift stores so nothing will go to waste.
If students have any questions, feel free to reach out to Student Council President Lily Resek at 25resekl@gjps.org. If parents have questions, please reach out to our Student Council Advisor Jessica Saluke at salukej@gjps.org. Thank you so much, and we hope to see your participation!
