When a die-hard musical theatre fan drops the needle on his favorite record — the cast album of a 1920s musical called The Drowsy Chaperone — the show magically bursts to life right in his living room! What follows is a dazzling, hilarious celebration of musical theatre’s golden age — complete with a bumbling best man, a nervous bride, a tipsy chaperone, gangsters disguised as pastry chefs, and plenty of show-stopping dance numbers.

Full of laughter, catchy tunes, and tongue-in-cheek charm, The Drowsy Chaperone is a “musical within a comedy” that will leave audiences grinning from ear to ear. Whether you’re a longtime Broadway lover or brand-new to musicals, this show is the perfect pick-me-up for the winter blues!

Tickets are $15 and available online now. Pay securely using credit card, PayPal, or Venmo. Prefer to buy in person? Tickets will also be sold in the BASH auditorium lobby on Wednesday evenings beginning in January from 6–8 PM (cash or online assistance available).

Hallway Passes Update for 25-26 SY

BASH Students & Families,

For the 2025-2026 SY, our goal is to minimize the number of students in the hallways and restrooms while increasing the time students spend in the classroom. As a result, BASH will be implementing a color-coded lanyard hallway pass system. Each classroom has been provided with two lanyards that are color coded and labeled for the classroom. Students will be required to utilize the restroom assigned to their classroom while also signing out via E-Hall Pass. Each restroom has been equipped with hooks outside that correlate to the max capacity of the restroom. Once the hooks are filled with lanyards, students must remain outside until someone exits to enter. In addition to all restrooms being open in the building, single use restrooms in attendance, nurse, art, and other areas of the building will continue to be available. Students who need to go to the nurse or counseling, will be provided a paper pass by the teacher. As a reminder, per BASD School Board Policy 237, the board prohibits the use of electronic device in locker rooms, bathrooms, health suites, and other changing areas at any time.

Senior Internship & Part Time Dismissal

Students & Families,

As an improved measure of safety, Seniors with early dismissal schedules (Internship & Part Time) may exit via the Athletic Entrance during periods 4-7. A staff member will be in the lobby to scan you out. During periods 1-3 and 8-9, all students must exit via the main entrance after scanning out in the attendance office. We will do our best to support additional dismissal via the Athletic Entrance during inclement weather.

All students entering after 7:40am, must enter via the Main Entrance and report to the Attendance Office.

Thank you,

BASH Admin & Security
