RMZ-Colt set to invest Rs 1.77 lakh crore in Andhra Pradesh data centre
RMZ and Colt Data Centres will invest ₹1.77 lakh crore in a new data centre. This significant project is planned for completion in five phases by 2036. Andhra Pradesh aims to become a major hub for artificial intelligence and cloud infrastructure. The state has already approved several large data centre projects from other companies. This new facility will bring the state closer to its ambitious 6 GW target.

AstraZeneca India and AP govt sign MoU to launch AI, genomics and advanced computing ecosystem for precision oncology
The Government of Andhra Pradesh today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with AstraZeneca India to launch India's first integrated precision oncology ecosystem, bringing together Artificial Intelligence (AI), next generation sequencing (NGS), advanced genomics and the innovation capabilities of Amaravati Quantum Valley (AQV) to transform cancer care. The collaboration aims to establish a comprehensive technology-enabled model that spans the entire patient journey—from early screening and diagnosis to genomic testing, personalised treatment and long-term follow-up—setting a new benchmark for public healthcare innovation and positioning Andhra Pradesh at the forefront of precision medicine in India.
