MagicSchool.AI

I discovered this AI tool through a colleague. MagicSchool has a generous free version, and also a subscription. Some things I like about MagicSchool:

  • Prompt Assistant: Creating a good prompt for AI is more than half the battle. Teaching our students (and ourselves) to create good prompts is essential to getting good output. The result from MagicSchool is an improved prompt with reasoning for the changes.
  • There are literally pages of AI tools for you to use. There are lesson 'hooks', IEP writing tools, Choice board creators and SO much more.
  • There's a PBL tool to help you create your scope, driving questions and project requirements.
  • There's a toggle between 'magic teacher' and 'magic student'. The student tools are fun and useful. There are tutors, ideas generator and even a joke generator.
