November Focus: RESPONSIBLE
Throughout the month of November, teachers and staff will be passing out 3R Tickets celebrating students who are responsible!
What does responsibility look like in school?
- Complete homework/classwork on time without reminders.
- Come prepared for class (materials, charged device, assignments).
- Stay on task during independent work without needing redirection.
- Ask for help when needed instead of giving up or distracting others.
- Use class time wisely (finish work before socializing).
- Keep track of personal belongings (pencil, Chromebook, assignments, etc.).
- Bring a charged Chromebook to school each day.
- Follow through on commitments (e.g., group project roles).
- Own up to mistakes and take steps to fix them.
- Follow school rules even when adults aren’t watching.
- Report unsafe behavior to an adult.
- Keep shared spaces clean (cafeteria, hallways, classroom).
- Help a peer who is struggling (academically or socially).
- Volunteer for classroom jobs or school activities.
- Return borrowed items (library books, classroom supplies) on time.
November's Incentive:
When students receive a ticket in recognition of being responsible, they place them in the grade level 3R boxes in the main lobby.
Then, on Friday, November 20th, during all tutorials, we’ll randomly pull tickets for:
- 10 students per team (20 per grade level) to join us for Bingo and Hot Cocoa in the Library and a chance to win really awesome prizes!!
💙 Thank you, families! 💙

PBIS at Home!
PBIS at Home continues throughout the school year! We are inviting families to share examples of how their child shows the 3 R’s—Respectful, Responsible, and Resilient—at home and in the community. Returning the form gives students a chance to earn special prizes and be featured on our morning video announcements. Please see the attached flyer for more information!
