Reminders
Chromebooks:
Please help us in reminding students to have their chromebooks fully charged and ready to go for school every day. This is an important tool for their learning and ont having them fully charged can lead to a loss in valuable class time, and time for students to complete classwork, and can also lead to disruptions in the classroom. Also, students are responsible for keeping track of their chromebook, keeping it in its case and zipped up when not in use, and promptly reporting issues with the device when they occur.
Dress Code:
With the change of temperatures outside, it can lead to changes of the temperature inside the building. Students should be dressed in accordance with the dress code and may want to have an extra sweathshirt handy in case they get cold during the day. Please check the dress code section of the student handbook and reach out if you have any questions.
Cell Phones:
Please note that the middle school students can have access to their phones before school and after school and are not allowed to access them during the day.
High school students are allowed to have their phones during passing periods and at lunch and are expected to turn their phones in each period to their teacher.
Eligibility/Grades:
I know schedules are busy, but finding time to have discussions with your child about their grades and what they are currently doing in their classes can go along way to ensuring success in the classroom and beyond. Weekly eligibility reports come out on Monday mornings and any Fs lead to being ineligible for the week. Teachers update grades frequently and TeacherEase will have the most up to date grades for your student. Please reach out to teachers with any questions about grades, class work, etc.
