Construction Updates
Hello Families,
We are hard at work to ensure a smooth and successful transition as we wrap up our construction project later this week. We are excited to share that we remain on track to meet our July 30 completion deadline, and we couldn't be more proud of the incredible work and dedication of the GH Phipps team. It has been amazing to watch the transformation of our building over the past several months, and we know these improvements will have a lasting positive impact on our students, staff, and families.
As with any large construction project, a few finishing touches will continue into the beginning of August. Our new recess area and turf installation are progressing well and are expected to be completed shortly after the start of the school year. While these projects are being finalized, we have carefully planned to ensure that students will continue to have safe and engaging outdoor spaces for recess and activities.
Our staff has also been busy preparing classrooms, organizing learning spaces, and getting everything ready to welcome students back. We are committed to making sure that Back-to-School Night provides families with an opportunity to see the many exciting updates throughout our building and to reconnect with our school community before the first day of school.
Although there will be a small amount of post-construction work taking place after students return, we do not anticipate any disruptions to daily learning or school operations. Our construction partners have worked closely with us to ensure that any remaining work is completed safely and with minimal impact on our school day.
We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to all of our new families who joined us for last week's events. We truly appreciate your patience, flexibility, and understanding as you navigated temporary parking changes and ongoing interior construction. Your enthusiasm and support remind us why this work is so important, and we are grateful to have you as part of our school community.
We cannot wait to welcome all of our students and families back to campus and share the many new additions and improvements that have been made. We are looking forward to a fantastic school year filled with learning, growth, and new opportunities in our updated spaces.
As always, please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. Thank you for your continued support, patience, and partnership throughout this exciting process. We look forward to seeing everyone very soon!
Best,
Travis Hargreaves

🗓️ Promoting Community Awareness
At our school, we deeply value the rich diversity of our students, families, and staff. To help foster a welcoming environment, our Board of Directors Culture and Climate Committee would like to share a helpful resource provided by Cherry Creek School District: a comprehensive calendar of religious holidays and observances.
As a public charter school, we do not celebrate specific religious holidays on campus. However, we believe that sharing this information is an important step in supporting and respecting our diverse community. This calendar is a wonderful tool to help our staff and families stay informed, allowing us to better understand and accommodate the various traditions and significant dates observed by our peers.
Thank you for your partnership in helping us maintain a respectful and inclusive environment for every student and family!
