Phishing on the Rise
With the return to school, there have recently been an increase in Phishing attempts on PUSD employees and students. Please be sure to verify all emails that come with a form or document attached, especially when those items ask for personal information, such as bank account information or passwords. PUSD will never ask for your password!
Help Desk Support & Device Checkouts
Please be aware that the Help Desk is receiving a high number of calls. They are doing their best to help everyone needing support as quickly as possible, but we appreciate your patience during this busy time of year.
If your account was recently activated, please note that it can take 24-48 hours for all systems to sync, and longer in the event that your Aeries account also needs to be created.
PUSD Devices
If you are a new staff member in need of a device, please submit a Help Desk ticket with your request. The Help Desk team will verify eligibility and reach out to you with next steps.
There are currently longer than usual wait times for device checkouts. We appreciate your patience while waiting for a device.
Amira
Headphones
Student headphones for all K-2 students who will be using Amira have been delivered to sites. These headphones have a small built-in microphone that should be located to the front, close to the student's mouth. (see image)
