Principal's Message
ATTENDANCE MATTERS!
As we approach an important stretch of the school year, your partnership continues to make a tremendous difference in student success. Thank you for your ongoing support of our students, staff, and school community.
Conference Week: October 19–20
Conference Week will take place October 19–20. We strongly encourage all parents and guardians to communicate with their child's teachers to schedule a conference. These conversations are valuable opportunities to discuss academic progress, address concerns, and strengthen the home-school partnership to help ensure the best possible outcomes for our students. (2 hr. early release)
Monitor Student Hall Pass Usage
Please remember that every Saturday, parents should receive a report from Minga showing the number of hall passes and the resulting time out of class their student has requested throughout the week. We encourage families to review this information regularly and use it as an opportunity to have conversations with students about responsible use of instructional time.
Family Engagement Night
We are excited about our upcoming Family Engagement Night, and we hope every family will consider joining us. This is a major event for our school community and will provide valuable information, resources, and opportunities to connect with staff and other families. We will also be sharing mentoring opportunities available for students. Please click the RSVP link in the graphic below to let us know you will be attending.
Attendance Matters
We have been placing a strong emphasis on student attendance, and we are beginning to see positive results. Thank you for supporting these efforts. Consistent attendance is one of the most important factors in academic success and helps reduce learning loss. Please continue encouraging your student to attend school every day and arrive on time. The investment made through daily attendance will be reflected in your student's academic growth and performance.
Thank you for your continued support of South Paulding Middle School.
