Grades

Students, please stay on top of your grades and make sure assignments are turned in! We missed class on Friday, so make sure you have talked to your teachers and turned in any missing work.

Students must be academically eligible to participate in marching band. Directors will begin printing grades for students who fail the 3 weeks progress report, requiring students to go to tutoring, and sending parent emails to those failing. Students who fail the 3 weeks progress report will also be assigned a B shadow.

The first progress report that affects eligibility is the six weeks progress report. We will have regular conversations with all classes regarding eligibility.

The three week progress report snapshot happened last Friday. We will start talking to students this week.

Payment Info

We are currently troubleshooting an issue with PayK12, our online payment system. I will send out payment details to the band when this issue is resolved. In the meantime, the link to payment in the newsletter has been removed. Please do not make any payments using PayK12 until things are fixed as it may create more work for us while we try to solve the issue. If you need to make a payment, we accept cash or checks made out to Davenport HS Band Boosters.

Please note that the link to PayK12 from previous newsletters may still be active and may even allow you to complete a transaction. This does not mean that the system is working properly. I will send an email when this issue is resolved, and I will include an updated link in the newsletter.

Please know that if you have recently made a payment through PayK12 and it is not reflected in Presto, we are working on updating that information.

Please let us know if you have any questions. I wanted to get this information to you before the September 1 statements are sent out through Presto.
