Are you a current sophomore at Avon Grove High School who:

• Demonstrates AGHS spirit, pride, and integrity

• Has earned the respect of your teachers and classmates

• Can facilitate group activities

• Is comfortable speaking with and to adults and/or

• Participates in and shows interest in Avon Grove Activities?

If so, you should apply to be a student representative to the Avon Grove School District School Board. The application form is attached here and should be completed by May 13th at 11:59pm.

Do you know a student who could benefit from career guidance and real-world connections?

If so, tell them about IMPACT—a new program from Longwood Rotary designed to help young adults take the next step toward their future.

Who: Young adults (focused on 17-25), must be a High School Senior or older to participate
Cost: Completely FREE - Sponsored by Longwood Rotary Club
Where: Kennett Library
When: 10 AM – 11 AM on May 2nd, 9th, 16th, 30th & June 6th and 13th.

Over 6 weeks, participants will:

• Build essential career and life skills (resume writing, job search strategies, financial literacy)
• Hear from guest speakers across a variety of career fields
• Network and form meaningful connections with community leaders

Featured topics include:

• Business Ownership & Entrepreneurship
• Health & Healthcare
• Skilled Trades

This is an incredible opportunity to explore career paths, gain mentorship, and grow a strong professional network—all at no cost.

NOTE: Students may sign up for as many sessions as they can! There will be unique content presented each week.

Per PA mandate, all 11th grade students are required to have a physical on file.

A physical dated after June 30, 2024 is acceptable.
