Vision Screening on Tuesday
This Tuesday, we will host Vision Screening for all students in Grades K, 1, 3, and 5. Please make sure if your child wears glasses that she or he has them at school on Tuesday.
Homecoming Parade
We had a great time at the Homecoming Parade! Thank you to our Springfield Family and Friends for making sure we had enough candy and other items to hand out and also to all our families and staff that came out at marched with us!
October is Accountable/Responsible
Our Habit of Character focus this month is being accountable and responsible. Beginning this Friday, Oct. 10, we will wear orange on Fridays.
Focusing on Habits of Character each month is one way we implement our MCAS Strategic Plan Strategy of Educating the Whole Child.
Volunteer Procedures
All volunteers must be screened prior to helping in the classroom, chaperoning field trips, or other activities. In order to be approved, you must have your license scanned in the office first and then turn in a volunteer form. Approval can take a few weeks so please turn in your volunteer form in early! Once approved, you are approved for 3 years.
More information can be found at: MCAS Volunteers Information
Aren't sure if you have already been approved? Please reach out to Mrs. Bevitori in the office!
