May 2025 Newsletter
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we enter the month of May, it is inspiring to reflect on the remarkable growth our students have demonstrated—academically, socially, and emotionally—throughout the school year. The energy on campus is vibrant, and there is a shared sense of pride in the hard work and accomplishments of our Lincoln Intermediate students.
Academic Highlights
Our teachers continue to deliver engaging and meaningful instruction while helping students consolidate their learning in preparation for end-of-year assessments. We appreciate your efforts in supporting consistent attendance and encouraging strong study habits at home. We recognize that testing can be a stressful time, and your continued support plays a crucial role in helping students finish the year with confidence.
Looking Ahead
As we approach the end of the school year, we are also preparing students for their next steps—whether that means advancing to the next grade level or, for our 6th graders, transitioning to middle school. Our teachers and counselors are working closely to ensure every student is ready for a successful transition.
Thank You
We are sincerely grateful for your ongoing partnership, trust, and support. Your involvement has a meaningful impact, and together, we are creating a positive and enriching experience for all students.
Thank you once again for your continued support.
Warm regards,
Mr. Holloway

Lincoln Library Life
Dear Readers and Families,
The library has been buzzing with excitement as students have been diving into some fantastic projects! It's wonderful to see such creativity and engagement across all grade levels.
Several classes have been tackling a STEM challenge, where they're tasked with designing and building something truly useful using only recycled materials. This hands-on project ties directly into their science unit on human impact on the environment. We've seen some incredibly innovative ideas taking shape, from organizers made from plastic bottles to games crafted from cardboard.
Meanwhile, other students have been exploring the world of coding with micro:bits. These tiny programmable computers are opening up a whole new realm of possibilities, as students learn to code and create interactive projects. We've seen blinking lights, simple games, and even basic robots coming to life. It's amazing to see their logical thinking and digital literacy skills develop.
As the school year begins to wind down, I want to take a moment to encourage everyone to keep the learning going throughout the summer months. One of the most valuable things your child can do is to continue reading. Summer reading helps prevent learning loss and opens up new worlds of imagination and knowledge.
Our local public library has a fantastic summer reading program with lots of fun activities and incentives. I highly recommend checking it out! Even setting aside just a little bit of time each day for reading can make a big difference. Whether it's picture books, chapter books, comics, or magazines, encourage your child to explore what interests them.
Thank you for your continued support of our library programs. We've had a wonderful year fostering a love of reading and learning, and we look forward to more exciting adventures next year!
Happy Reading!
