Cable America is offering Internet 25 free for 60 days. This will be for 25 mbps. There will be a $12.95 per month rental fee for the modem, and a $39.95 installation fee. You must have a K-12 student in the household, and you will need to mention Internet 25 when you call. For more information, call 800-338-1808.

Verizon has gifted all of their customers 15 GB of hotspot data.

Cricket Wireless has gifted existing customers with a capable smartphone 10GB of mobile hotspot data for two billing cycles.

Any other options for internet access?

Student Chromebooks will connect to ANY district wifi and the wifi signal extends beyond the walls of the buildings. In theory, you could park in the main drive of the high school, near the Ag building, or near the Junior High and the Chromebook will connect. While working from a car or outside of a building may not be ideal, it is a viable option. We can not stress enough the importance of maintaining appropriate physical distancing if you do come onto the school grounds. Best practice would be to remain in your vehicle. Otherwise, maintain at least 6 feet of distance between you and any other person.

What do I do if I have problems logging in on my Chromebook or Google account?

You will need to get in touch with Mr. Lawson as soon as possible. The best way is to email him at lawsonj@cleverbluejays.org. Another option would be to connect with Mr. Casey on Remind and send a message which can be passed along to Mr. Lawson.

What do I do if my student's Chromebook is not working properly?

A Google Form has been created for students/parents to submit in the event your Chromebook is having issues. It is important to understand that collecting, repairing, and disinfecting a device may take up to three weeks. If a loaner device is needed, please contact Mr. Lawson (lawsonj@cleverbluejays.org) or Mr. Casey (caseyj@cleverbluejays.org) so that arrangements can be made as quickly as possible.

How do I access Canvas as a parent?

Use this document to walk you through the process of becoming a parent observer for your student's account. If you are asked for a "pairing code", you can access that within your student's account under settings.

How can I upload documents from home?

Work can be submitted either through Canvas or directly to the teacher via email. You can use the free app, Fast Scanner. Here is a quick video on Fast Scanner: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=225cW6l5-Ug
