A Message from Our Principal
Dear Farnham Families,
Goal-Setting Conferences Continue
We’ve loved seeing so many of our Farnham families on campus for goal-setting conferences! These meetings are an important way to strengthen the connection between home and school and help our Falcons take ownership of their learning. Conferences will continue through Tuesday, October 14th, and we’ll remain on our early release schedule during this time. Thank you for partnering with us to set goals and celebrate progress together.
Last Chance for the Scholastic Book Fair!
There’s still time to stock up on great reads! The Scholastic Book Fair will wrap up this Friday, so be sure to stop by before it closes. Every purchase helps support our school library and encourages a love of reading across our campus.
Support Our Farnham Giving Campaign
Our annual Farnham Giving Campaign is underway! Your contributions directly support our Falcons in classrooms, enrichment programs, assemblies, and field trips that make learning come alive. Every donation—big or small—makes a difference. Together, we can continue providing exceptional opportunities for all Farnham students.
Thank you for being such an engaged and supportive community!
Be well,
Amy O'Hehir

Costume Guidlelines
Students who choose to dress up on October 24th should wear costumes that do not interfere with their ability to work in the classroom setting. The costumes should be worn over their street clothes, so students can easily change out of their costumes. Please see more information below:
The costume parade will begin during the usual Friday morning assembly. Parents are welcome to stay for the parade.
Costume Guidelines
If your child’s costume has a fake weapon or any other prop that must be carried in the hand of the student, please leave this part at home, as this type of prop is not allowed at school.
Please avoid costumes that require masks, extravagant make-up, or sprayed hair.
Costumes are not allowed to have dangerous objects (e.g., toy swords, toy guns, chains, skates, or spray cans).
Students should wear school clothes under the costume.
Costumes should not be too scary (so that our younger students are not frightened)
No weapon, blood, or gore may be part of the costumes.
Costumes should be of appropriate length (not too short, too tight, or see-through).
Costumes should not include things on the hands or face (e.g., masks) that interfere with writing or sight.
Students should plan to wear shoes that will be safe for outdoor recess and PE activities.
Costumes should be tasteful, modest, and appropriate for a school environment and follow the basic guidelines of school dress code standards.
We thank you in advance for helping your child follow the rules about costumes. We know that the children look forward to showing off their costumes safely so that no little ones are scared.
