🤲 Our weekly chapel focus
Paul calls believers to put to death the old ways of living and to put on the new life that flows from being made new in Christ. Because Jesus is our life, our words, attitudes, and relationships should increasingly reflect His character—marked by compassion, humility, forgiveness, and love. Rather than being ruled by anger or division, we are called to let the peace of Christ and the Word of Christ shape our hearts and homes. When Christ is central, everything we do is done in His name and for His glory.
Family Discussion Questions:
What is one “old habit” or attitude we need to intentionally put off, and what Christlike trait can we replace it with?
How can our family practice forgiveness and peace in a practical way this week?
What would it look like for the Word of Christ to dwell in our home more fully?

As we witness the exciting growth of VCA, we invite our VCA family to join us in intentional prayer for our board members as they seek to honor God’s plan for our school.
Guidance in Stewardship: Pray for the responsible management of resources, ensuring that every decision aligns with the school’s mission and honors the trust our families have placed in the leadership.
Strength & Protection: Serving on a board requires a sacrifice of time and energy. Pray for the health and spiritual well-being of our board members and their families.
The VCA Building Project:
For Favorable Weather: Portions of the site evaluation require clear visibility of the property. Please pray for dry, clear days so these technical assessments can be completed without delay.
For Favor with Porter County: Pray for smooth communication and a spirit of cooperation with county officials as we move through the permitting and approval stages.
For the Quiet Phase of Fundraising: Pray that God would stir the hearts of our community and supporters, and that the resources needed to realize this vision would be provided in His perfect timing.
For Continued Wisdom: Pray for the Board and Facilities Team as they finalize the schematic designs, ensuring every square foot is optimized for our students’ growth and God's glory.

Some of our 4th graders performed a skit during Chapel. They did a GREAT job!
Biology Class
Mr. Bender's Biology class is studying the DNA of a strawberry.
7th grade Science
Mrs. McLean's 7th grade Science class is learning how to create wavelengths of sound.

The snow make-up day for 1/26 will be Monday, April 6th. This was originally a day off of school. However, Monday, April 6th, school will be in-session for a full day.
