Ohio State Testing continues the next few weeks This week for our 3rd grade students will be testing.

Wednesday, April 16: 3rd Grade - Reading Part 1 @ 8:30 AM

Thursday, April 17: 3rd Grade - Reading Part 2 @ 8:30 AM

As we begin planning for the upcoming school year, it’s important for us to have accurate enrollment information. If your child will not be returning to our school next year, please let us know as soon as possible.

The Gahanna-Jefferson school board will discuss the Fair School Funding Plan and the importance of fully funding public education. Recent budget proposals have reduced state funding for our schools, with GJPS facing an estimated $5 million shortfall by 2027, compounded by inflation. These cuts could impact class sizes, programs, and resources for our students. Join us to learn how we can advocate for fair funding and protect our schools' future. Your voice matters!

For the safety of our students and staff, we are making an important change to our morning arrival procedures. From 7:45–8:05 a.m., no vehicles will be permitted to enter the main parking lot from Schillingwood Dr. or Helmbright Dr. unless you have a valid handicap tag or a pass issued by Lincoln.

All other families should use the car loop. If you arrive and find the car loop doors locked, please continue through the loop, park in the main lot, and walk your child into the building to sign them in.

All 3rd, 4th and 5th graders will take part in the OST this year. Please see the schedule below and try not to make any appointments or schedule vacations during these dates. Please reach out to your child's teacher, if you have any questions.

The Heart and Pride Award recognizes two outstanding staff members each month who make a profound impact on our students and Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools. Families are encourage to nominate a staff member today! The Heart & Pride Nomination Form will remain available year-round and is open to any member of our staff, regardless of position.
