April/May Instructional Vision Challenge! LAST CALL!!!!!

We will continue into April and May with the last opportunity to share how YOU are implementing a part of our instructional vision.

This month's focus are the fifth two bullets in the instructional vision are:

  • Students will know what they are learning and why they are learning it.

  • Staff will empower students to know what and why they are learning.

Staff are invited to fill out a brief (2-3 sentences!) summary of how you are implementing this part of our vision. It can be specific or general, and it should clearly describe how your actions are moving this part of our instructional vision forward.

Here is the link to share!

New Hires in Central Office

I'm so pleased to share that a number of new staff have been hired in our Central Office. As you may recall, the Central Office is being restructured to ensure the most efficient and supportive structure is in place aligned with our instructional vision.

Please join me in welcoming:

  • Jennifer Foster as Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (30 hours per week).
  • Jennifer Raymond as Payroll (30 hours per week).
  • Amber Boutilier as Food Services Manager.
  • Joan Tuttle as Director of Accountability and Grants.

And as a reminder, Amy Mason is our new Business Administrator and Stacy Stewart will be our new Human Resource Director starting July 1.

We are still going through the process of hiring a Central Office Administrative Assistant and we hope to do so within the next few weeks!

Save the Date

Please join us on Monday, June 16 from 2:00–4:00pm at the Central Office as we gather to celebrate the incredible contributions of Deb Kuhn and Steph Fisk ahead of their well-earned retirements.

Deb and Steph have each made a lasting impact on our district through their dedication, integrity, professionalism, and care for our school community. This is a chance for all of us to come together to share our gratitude, well wishes, and a few stories with two people who have truly shaped the heart of Gateway.

Light refreshments will be servedβ€”we hope to see you there!
