We are grateful!

Lincoln Families,

Happy October! Fall is in full swing, and it’s been wonderful seeing our students settled into routines, engaged in learning, and showing their ROAR — Respect, Ownership, Accountability, and Resilience — every day.

October is also National Principals Month, a time to celebrate school leadership and the dedication of administrators who help make Lincoln a thriving and supportive learning community. We’re especially thankful for our amazing assistant principals, Vy Andrew and Darci Keleher, whose care and commitment help ensure that every student feels valued and supported each day.

As always, we’re grateful for our incredible teachers, staff, and families who work together to make Lincoln Middle School a place where students feel curious, empowered, and connected.

Here’s to a great October filled with learning, growth, and community!

Coming Soon

As you may know, a new state law has recently gone into effect restricting student cellphone usage during the school day. In alignment with this law, Lincoln Middle School will be implementing Yondr pouches within the next several weeks.

We are currently in the planning stages and will be holding trainings and informational meetings with both families and students to ensure a smooth rollout. Our goal is to create a learning environment where students can stay focused, connected, and fully engaged in their school experience.

Thank you for your partnership and support as we make this important shift together. More details will be shared soon.

Culturally Responsive Teaching

Shout-out to Mr. Seoul for an engaging science lesson that beautifully reflected culturally responsive teaching in action! Students explored speed and acceleration using toy cars, collaborating to test and compare results.

By incorporating hands-on exploration and peer collaboration, Mr. Seoul tapped into students’ deep culture of curiosity, teamwork, and shared problem-solving—creating a learning experience where every student’s voice and perspective mattered.

This is a great example of how culturally responsive teaching can make academic concepts both meaningful and memorable!
