Superintendent's Monday Magi Message
It is a GREAT week to be a MAGI!
Thrilled to present our inaugural "Monday Magi Messenger" this week! You should expect to receive future editions on most Mondays to help all of our district families stay informed about school events and upcoming activities. This year has been fantastic, thanks to amazing teachers and some new programs. Can you believe it's already February? Time flies! I'll keep you updated and share more in the coming weeks. For example, this week, we had a successful fundraiser for our Washington DC trip, and here's a snapshot of some of the volunteers, captured by Ms. Kevnick.
I'm eager to connect with you through these Monday messages but also continue my open-door approach for parents, stakeholders, and students. As a Colon resident, I've known many of you for a couple of years, working together on projects or seeing you at events. It is my plan to share a glimpse of what I'm working on in our schools, community, or even in my free time in each edition. This week, I'm thrilled to share I've returned to the classroom after 11 years in administration, teaching a class at CHS on Thursday afternoons. Teaching is a wild ride, and apparently, mastering the art of paper stapling is my first assignment. As one clever 11th grader pointed out, I've got some work to do in that department. Teaching is hard work, but your kids make it all worthwhile!
Wishing you a magical week, and it is a great week to BE a MAGI!
