Whiteside News

Exciting Start for Our Warriors!

Our students have made a fantastic start this year, mastering their arrival and dismissal routines. On Tuesday, September 2nd, we will celebrate Whiteside Independence Day. Students will showcase their independence by unpacking their belongings and getting their own breakfast. A big thank you to our parents for supporting this journey toward independence! September is also Attendance Awareness Month, highlighting the importance of being at school on time every day. If your child will be absent, please inform Mrs. Kaye in the office and provide a doctor’s note for any illness.

Feel free to reach out with any questions. Here’s to a wonderful September ahead!

Our first Walking Wednesday is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 3rd. Complete the School Safe ID login below and meet your child out back in the gym during their PE time.

Once again Whiteside will utilize Rooms for communication with parents! This two-way messaging feature exists within our district app. What that means for you is that you don’t have to use another tool to keep up with your child’s teachers and their coursework. Pretty convenient, right? If you haven’t already, download our LISD district app from the app store!
