Deer Run Families,
We had a wonderful week celebrating Warm Wishes Spirit Week! Our hallways were filled with school spirit each day. Thank you for helping your children participate and for adding so much excitement to our building!
We are also incredibly grateful for your generosity during our Warm Wishes Donation Drive and Penny Harvest. Your contributions will make a meaningful difference for families in our community, and we are proud of the kindness our students and families continue to show.
Looking ahead to next week, we have two exciting events on our calendar:
Jerome High School Play Field Trip
Our entire school will be traveling to Jerome High School to enjoy a student performance. Please be sure to review any permission information sent home so your child is ready for the trip.
OSU vs. Michigan Day
On Tuesday, we will celebrate one of the biggest football rivalries of the year! Students are encouraged to wear their favorite team colors scarlet and gray or maize and blue to join in on the fun.
As always, thank you again for your continued support, kindness, and partnership. We are grateful for our Deer Run community and all you do to make this such a special place for students.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Deer Run Updates
Deer Run OSU vs. Michigan Day
To continue our Deer Run Tradition we will have OSU vs. Michigan Day on Tuesday, November 25. Please wear gear to support your team on Tuesday!
School Field Trip - Jerome High School
All of our Deer Run students will be attending a play at Jerome High School on Tuesday, November 25. The play is titled The Wind in the Willows Young@Part. We will leave at Noon and the play will begin at 12:30 PM. Paper permission slips were sent home with students last week.
If you child will be absent on this day, please be sure to indicate this in Infinite Campus.
Dismissal Changes
In the event of an emergency and the need to change a student's dismissal method be sure to send an email to the classroom teacher AND the attendance email (Dres_attendance@dublinschools.net). Teachers are extremely busy during the school day, therefore, it is not guaranteed that the teacher would have time to review the parent email prior to dismissal. Be sure to submit changes as early as possible to increase the likelihood that the communication will be received by our school team prior to dismissal.
Student Car Drop Off and Pick Up
As a reminder, car drop off and pick up for all students should take place at the back door of the school. Last school year, students were being dropped off at Grizzell, in the school parking lot, and in the neighborhood adjacent to the school. We want to ensure that all of our students are safely dropped off at school, therefore only the backdoor area should be used. Also, we also want to be considerate of our neighbors that live in the homes adjacent to the school. Therefore, adhering to this guidelines is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
