Friday morning, March 28th, we will have individual and class pictures. We will start promptly at 8:30am and cannot re-take class pictures to include late students. There will be no re-take day for Spring Pictures.

Dear AAK Families,

We are excited to share that we are in conversations with Blueprint, a non-profit organization
that supports charter schools in expanding and purchasing facilities, regarding the potential
purchase of our entire building. While nothing is finalized at this time, we have been working
diligently to make this opportunity a reality.

At this stage, we do not expect to have definitive information for at least 60 days. However, we
remain committed to keeping you informed throughout this process and will share updates as
soon as they become available.

With this expansion, we plan to increase our enrollment and enhance our playground
space, providing even greater opportunities for our students. As many of you know, our families
are our strongest advocates in growing our school community. We encourage you to share the
great things happening at AAK with friends and family who may be interested in joining us. As
enrollment increases, we will also be able to expand our program offerings and utilize additional
space on the second floor.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our school. We appreciate your
partnership and look forward to the exciting possibilities ahead!

Our fourth and fifth graders have been working hard to create a play. They have written the lines in Expressions, composed the songs in Music, and created the scenery and props in Art. Now they are ready to present their masterpiece to you!

Please let us know if your student will be out for the day, or will be more than 15 minutes late for school:

If your student is going to be absent for an appointment, vacation, or is ill, please call to let us know, or use the form linked below to excuse their absence.

Your student must be free of fever, vomiting, and/or diarrhea for 24 hours without medication before returning to school, i.e. if they have symptoms today, they will need to remain home tomorrow.

If your student has a runny nose, cough, sore throat, etc. (without fever, vomiting, and/or diarrhea) they must stay home until they only have one symptom left and it is improving.
