Fue maravilloso ver fotografías de nuestros estudiantes caras sonrientesen en la reunión del Centro Comunitario St. Johns de ayer. Lamentablemente no pude ir porque estaba en una reunión. Extraño ver y compartir conexiones con nuestros estudiantes. 🙁

Como ha anunciado nuestro distrito, no habrá conferencias la próxima semana y luego estaremos de vacaciones, con un posible regreso el 27 de noviembre para los estudiantes. No tengo nada que informar hoy, espero que se llegue a un acuerdo entre PAT y nuestro distrito este fin de semana.

Dear James John Families,

It was wonderful to see pictures of our students' smiling faces at yesterday’s St. Johns Community Center gathering. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend due to being at a meeting. I do miss seeing and sharing connections with our students. 🙁

As our district has announced - there will be no conferences next week and then we are on holiday break, with a possible return on the 27th of November for students. While I have nothing to report today, I am hoping an agreement is reached between PAT and our District this weekend.

With the change in weather we have seen a lot of students in need of a change of clothes. We have a school clothing closet but are running really short on a few specific items. If you are able to donate any new socks, underwear or size 5-12 sweat pants/leggings we would gladly accept them in the office.

Con el cambio de clima hemos visto a muchos estudiantes necesitar un cambio de ropa. Tenemos un armario de ropa escolar, pero nos estamos quedando sin algunos artículos específicos. Si puede donar calcetines, ropa interior o pantalones deportivos/leggings de talla 5 a 12, con gusto los aceptaremos en la oficina.
